Light up! Germany's darkest corners

We want to take care of it.
To be used where safe and environmentally friendly light is required.
Use and demand the concentrated knowledge and know-how of Germany's lighting designers / lighting architects, lighting technicians and architectural offices.
Ludmila Keller, Head of Sales and Marketing sees it like this: When I go home in the evening after work, my path leads through the tunnel in the direction of the grammar school. My heart always stops when I pass this place and I am always happy to have come out there again. My children also study at this grammar school and have to pass this place in the dark during the dark season, which worries me a lot. I am sure that there are many places in Germany where the heart stops and parents would want those places to be visible.
Ultimately, we want to use this campaign "Light up! Germany's Darkest Corners." to make all decision-makers in the cities and municipalities aware that it is high time to take care of the places that have been neglected so far, but are nevertheless so important for the safety of the population. A change of perspective and the professionalism of architects, lighting designers, landscape architects can help them to cope with this task.
The fact that light, when professionally planned and used, can be an optimal interaction of safety, environmental protection and aesthetics is proven to us every day by architects and lighting designers in their outstanding projects.
A well-known dilemma for architects is to protect the high-quality design against vandalism. The LED handrail lighting from LUX GLENDER is "vandal-proof" and very durable thanks to the high-quality LED s / Made in Europe. Due to the low energy consumption and a modern application technology, even the energy and climate protection concept can be implemented, costs can be saved and the safety of the population can be guaranteed.

Significantly greater safety at problem points.
With the LED handrail system, the responsible body can now make a difference for the safety of citizens in a modern and energy-efficient way and also counteract the increasing vandalism with hard stainless steel facts: A coordinated, adapted and guiding light for bridges, platforms, footpaths and cycle paths, in pedestrian tunnels and in the entire public area.
The LUX GLENDER light-in-handrail system is available in three versions: BASIC, SAFE and the ULTRA SAFE system which is especially recommended for places at risk of vandalism such as bridges, pedestrian and cycle path crossings/underpasses. The patented system of interlocking components (cover and safety profile) is ideal here. The ingenious yet simple idea that once the entire light-in-handrail system is complete, you have a quasi-sealed compound of these two elements is astounding. After installation, they can no longer be opened without further ado. However, during normal regular maintenance, the securing profile can be pressed together at the designated inspection point. The cover then opens like a zip. If a long distance is to be illuminated and only one feed point is available, the support profile is taken away and the cable is routed further inside.
Competent system consultants are available for project enquiries.
The idea was to develop a light-in-handrail system that is simple to work with and can be assembled in a modular fashion, covering as many requirements as possible for modern, timeless and aesthetic stainless steel handrail lighting by replacing just a few system components. The system should be energy-efficient and environmentally friendly at the same time and adapt to local requirements and conditions accordingly. For example, not to interfere with the night life of certain animals and insects, to take into account the proximity to water, to forests or even to compensate for the salty air of the proximity to the sea without any problems by using stainless steel.
The alternative lighting method - light from the handrail is already an effective lighting and design tool for most architects. However, as the product is relatively new, our competent system consultants are always available for project enquiries. We offer free consultation and preliminary planning for the implementation of LED handrails.
