LED Handrail with Underneath Mounting on Holders or Posts
This standard LED handrail variant allows an uninterrupted glide along the handrail. It can be easily implemented with all common posts and handrail holders.
Advantages
- Uninterrupted Glide: With holders mounted from below, hand movement along the rail is not restricted.
- Seamless Light Flow: Although the light strip is interrupted by the mounting bases, the LED strip within the handrail continues uninterrupted. These interruptions are not visible from the floor.
- Discrete Lighting: The light strip is visible only from below, not from the side, creating subtle lighting.
LED Handrail Rotated Toward the Staircase with Underneath Mounting on Holders or Posts
This mounting option requires fewer components but demands more effort from the welder. The LED handrail is rotated toward the staircase, enabling even lighting across a broader staircase.

- Even Lighting: Rotating the handrail allows for uniform illumination of a wider staircase.
- Continuous Light Strip: The light strip remains uninterrupted and is visible from the side, creating a continuous light line.
- Aesthetic Flexibility: This option allows designers to combine the benefits of a continuous light strip with asymmetrical illumination.
- User-Friendly: With proper positioning of the handrail holders, the hand can glide smoothly along this option as well.
LED Handrail with Downward Light Emission or Rotated Toward Staircase/Walkway
This modification is often used on bridges, terraces, and other applications where an unobstructed glide of the hand is not necessary. The handrail holder is welded to the LED handrail from the side.
Advantages
- Flexible Light Output Direction: The light emission area can be positioned parallel to the ground or rotated, enabling various lighting effects.
- Continuous Light Strip: This mounting option creates a continuous, uniform light strip.
- Material Variety: Easily connects to posts made from different materials, such as steel. The handrail holder can be screwed onto the posts.
